Dylan is the current Canadian Champion in Shot put, and won the Diamond League trophy in shot put in the 2011 season. He trains under the direction of his coach, Dr. Bondarchuk, in Kamloops and in various places around the world, depending on where he is competing. 2011.12.21 - Athletics Canada Announcement
Dylan Armstrong caps off his brilliant season by winning three Athletics Canada awards. Dylan is the winner of the Jack W. Davies Trophy (overall athlete of the year), the F.N.A. Rowell Trophy (outstanding athlete of the year in field events), and the Cal D. Bricker Memorial Trophy (outstanding performance of the year). The shot putter consistently threw over 21-metres all season, won silver at the World Championships which was Canada’s first ever medal in throwing events at a World Championship. He also won Pan American Games gold, setting a new Games record along the way. Add to the list of accomplishments a title in the Diamond League and a new Canadian record of 22.21-metres which stood as the best throw of the season worldwide and you have arguably one of the best seasons by a Canadian athletics athlete in history.

Hammer Thrower Adam Keenan was born on September 26, 1993. He moved from Victoria, BC to Kamloops, BC in August 2012, to train at the National Throws Centre, with Dr. Bondarchuk.
Spencer Prince is a hammer thrower from Langley, BC. He has been training with Dr. Bondarchuk since September, 2012. He came to the National Throws Centre after spending a year at Illinois State University.
Justin Rodhe of the National Throws Centre had a huge personal best in the shot put Saturday, December 10, 2011 in the Golden Flash Gala at Kent State University in Kent Ohio taking the gold with 20.77. His previous personal best was 20.07. Justin Rodhe became a Canadian Citizen in October after moving here to train with Anatoliy Bondarchuk and is married to hammer thrower Megann Rodhe.

There was a great story about Crystal, published in the Kamloops Daily News on April 14, 2012. The story is about her continued training for the hammer throw while she is pregnant, and the efforts she is making to continue her quest to compete in the 2012 Olympics.
Congratulations - The KTFC executive, club members, and the National Throws Centre would like to welcome baby Brooklyn Marie Johnson into the world on April 18, 2012 at 11:04 PM. Proud parents are hammer throwers Chrystal Smith-Johnson and Kibwe Johnson. Dr. Bondarchuk accurately predicted the gender of the baby.
